_ This school-based event helps promote exercise and health, celebrates our 100th day of school, and serves as a platform for an important school fundraiser.  It will be a day of healthy fun, music and school spirit!

Parents, you received the gift card to DonorsChoose.org before the Xmas Break. Make sure you redeem your FREE $15 DonorsChooseLA.org gift card to support a Rosewood classroom project. Log on HERE and donate to a classroom project using your free gift card before Feb. 2, 2012. Each gift card has a unique code that you will use to redeem your $15.

Starting Monday, January 23, local area Starbucks will be giving away $10 DonorsChoose gift cards to customers. You can use this in addition to the gift cards that were mailed home to you. So if you're getting your morning coffee, please ask them about the gift cards to help our teacher fund their projects!

We need your activities fee for 2012!

I'm sure you have watched the news and learned about all of the cuts to our educational system here in California.  Your activity fee is needed now, more than ever to help pay for the programs that help make Rosewood a great school.

Did you know that without this fee, we would not have the great Winter and Spring Sing events, that we would not have a dedicated physical education person, or support for our library.  We would not have any music or arts programs.
